Compassion in Action--Designs by Erandeny Torres
Erandeny Torres is by far one of the most creative individuals I have ever met, every ounce of this woman is raw, unadulterated talent. I have worked with her as a makeup artist and designer for coming up on a year, and she never fails to surprise and inspire. The dress in the first and third shots posted here was inspired by the eathquake in Haiti and the effort both by the Red Cross and Haitians themselves to lend helping hands to one another. The dress recently won 2nd place (as well as the popular vote by a huge margin) in the "Art to Wear" competition sponsored by the American Red Cross.
